We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Propell American LLC. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies on the production line(s) and mechanical tasks as they apply to production or repairs of product.
Key Responsibilities- Install purchased, assembled, and preassembled components.
- Conduct installations both electronic and mechanical according to general instructions and established standards.
- Lift and move assemblies and components.
- Complete assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain all associated production documentation.
- Examine all work performed in assigned areas.
- Participate in commissioning, operator training, and testing as required.
- Assemble product components to maintain published schedules as directed.
- Examine product for proper fit and function.
- Conduct installation inspections.
- Display the proven ability to give clear and concise instructions.
- Assist in the organization of shop floor work.
- Able to delegate and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate both ability and desire to improve process and reduce waste.
- Proficient in precision layout and measurements as per drawings/hand drawings/or revisions.
- Work effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example.
- Exhibit problem-solving, decision-making, job task planning, and organizational capabilities.
- Previous work experience preferred.
- Effective time management skills to assist in coordinating the department over multiple shifts.
- Exceptional people skills and a can-do attitude are essential keys to success in this role.
