Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team at Aegis Worldwide. As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing purchasing activities, creation of new spare parts, management of spare parts usage and reorder from a fiscal accountability standpoint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, and recording the location of parts.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that the stockroom has all necessary parts for machine maintenance and repair.
  • Process and manage special orders, including receiving, labeling, and putting away stock orders.
  • Coordinate returns of defective or mis-shipped parts.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of related work experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable driving a forklift and willingness to learn and obtain certification.
