Position Overview
The Procurement Coordinator, specializing in Government Support, is responsible for managing and assisting with a variety of functions within the Government Support division. Key responsibilities encompass order processing, administration of orders, and conducting parts research.
Core Responsibilities
- Reviewing solicitations and acquiring pricing and lead times for components.
- Documenting and executing processes effectively.
- Invoicing contracts and handling credit card transactions.
- Providing exceptional customer service to U.S. Government clients and distributors.
Essential Skills
Hard Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in order entry and management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Baan preferred).
- Understanding of contracts and government terminology (beneficial but not mandatory).
Soft Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to collaborate with management, legal teams, and various departments.
- Excellent documentation and process auditing capabilities.
- Effective communication and follow-up skills.
Job Type
This role is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
