Civil Engineering Department Manager Role

Lead and Grow a Thriving Civil Engineering Team

At Luxus, we're seeking a seasoned civil engineering professional to lead and expand our team. As a Department Manager, you'll oversee project design, project management, client relationships, and business development while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead a team of engineers in delivering exceptional results on land development projects, from design and permitting to construction document preparation.
  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Business Development: Actively engage with the community to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with our corporate business development team to expand our reach.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards, overseeing every aspect of project design and documentation.
  • Mentorship: Guide and inspire your team, fostering their professional development and creating a pathway for career growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in civil engineering land development, project management, and team leadership.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in site planning, grading design, construction document preparation, and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and empower a team, foster collaboration, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Business Acumen: A keen understanding of business development principles and the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
