Job Title: Production Planner III
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Summary:
The Production Scheduler is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the pre-campaign schedule. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing at least 5/10 tasks to ensure departmental schedules are accurate and communicated to all relevant departments.
- Ensuring all schedules are created respecting existing labor and asset capacities and achievable based on planned material availabilities.
- Driving timely resolution of all scheduling conflicts with relevant stakeholders.
- Creating, tracking, and maintaining schedules to provide visibility to defined departments.
- Incorporating input from all relevant departments to ensure schedules are realistic within relevant constraints and latest information.
- Driving optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource utilization.
- Ensuring all feedback regarding changes to existing plans is incorporated into schedules in a timely manner.
- Maintaining detailed planning and scheduling parameters in planning system to allow optimal use of system scheduling functionality.
- Generating relevant KPI and operational measures to support identification of trends or root causing of sub-optimal performance.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report metrics (KPIs) and help to identify issues through peers.
