Job Description

This role involves operating a forklift to safely and efficiently unload perishable/grocery product within the perishable/grocery warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner
  • Move, stack, and store a variety of product/material in the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading pallets
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Cleaning, cutting plastic, and maintaining a uniform pallet position
  • Sorting pallets during shift
  • Maintaining a customer-focused mentality
  • Reporting safety hazards to management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience operating a forklift
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely
  • Ability to utilize a warehouse management system
