dormakaba is looking for skilled Punch Press Machinists to join our dedicated Operations team. This role involves the setup and operation of punch press machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards.

This position operates on the Second Shift (2:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with a competitive pay range of $18.50/hr to $27/hr, based on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Overtime may be required as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure the press in accordance with specifications, including the installation and alignment of dies, and verifying the quality of the punched product.
  • Prepare, load, and unload materials for the punch press operation.
  • Measure and assess the dimensions and angles of metal before and after processing.
  • Interpret work orders and technical drawings to produce necessary components for final products.
  • Conduct inspections of parts post-production to identify any defects and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Make necessary adjustments to equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Document production and quality metrics accurately.
  • Adhere to preventative maintenance protocols to ensure equipment reliability.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in mechanical or machine manufacturing environments.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
