Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will support primary care providers in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients by performing various activities and procedures under their direction. This involves observing, caring for, and safeguarding the life and health of patients. The LPN will direct patient flow, assist with education, and maintain clinical areas for efficient delivery of services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination as instructed by the provider.
  • Take patient history or extended history as directed by the provider.
  • Assist providers with examinations and administer injections as directed.
  • Remove sutures, clean wounds, and apply dressing as directed.
  • Assist providers in special procedures and maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and supplies.
  • Receive and handle medically related phone calls as directed.
  • Perform medically related tasks as directed by the provider.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1 year in clinical or practice setting (preferred).
  • We welcome new graduates.
  • NH State licensure as LPN.
  • BLS Certification.


Certification and License Requirements:

  • BLS (AHA).
  • NH State licensure.


Additional Requirements:

  • NH license must be active at time of submission.
  • Weekend and on-call requirements TBD.
