We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at McKesson. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center's complex facility systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical systems, including conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other automated technologies.
- Electrical Support: Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical systems.
- Training and Development: Lead and train other facilities assistants on new systems and equipment, and provide guidance on electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors and provide clear direction on maintenance and repair tasks.
- Experience: Typically requires 1+ years of related experience in maintenance and repair of complex facility systems.
- Skills: Intermediate experience with troubleshooting control systems, including relay logic and microprocessor-based controls. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics is required.
- Education: Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field.
