We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer II to join our Hardware Test Engineering team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and documenting testing of electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies and solutions for new products, focusing on automation, cycle time reduction, and improving product quality.
  • Collaborate with hardware development, regulatory & compliance, program management, and other hardware test team members to ensure seamless testing and validation.
  • Design and develop test fixtures, documentation, and test reports to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Support the development of test plans, test cases, and quality metrics to measure product quality.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, with a focus on electrical systems testing.
  • Experience in automation testing, manual testing, and test lead roles.
  • BS degree in engineering, technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of test equipment, test fixture design, and bench top electrical debug tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics.
  • Basic scripting experience in a high-level programming language, such as Python, Matlab, or LabVIEW.
  • Experience with electric motors and motor test methodology.
