ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Retail Team Leader, you will embody the Ryman ethos by engaging with customers and sharing your knowledge about our products and services. Your role is pivotal in ensuring we deliver outstanding customer experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a representative of Ryman, demonstrating a commitment to learning and sharing knowledge about our business.
- Strive to position Ryman as the premier High Street Stationer through exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to foster loyalty.
- Encourage a culture of superior customer service, guiding team members to engage effectively with customers.
- Support the training and development of team members to enhance overall performance.
- Manage till operations efficiently, ensuring high standards of customer care and adherence to loss prevention protocols.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of company systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Uphold high visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
- Continuously develop product knowledge for yourself and your team.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through effective upselling techniques.
- In the absence of senior management, ensure the security and safety of the store and staff.
- Motivate colleagues to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Retail Support Centre colleagues to address any operational issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as processing timesheets when required.
