This position is a key role in the Child Nutrition department at Phoenix Elementary School District #1, supporting the health and well-being of students through the provision of nutritious meals.

The Child Nutrition Worker I performs a variety of duties in the cafeteria, including meal preparation, serving, and customer service. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and cafeteria, and providing high-quality customer service to students and staff. The ideal candidate will have a valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Permit and a high school diploma or equivalent.

This is a part-time position, and the employee may be required to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. The nature of this position is fast-paced and may occasionally be thought of as stressful.
