Daily Responsibilities

Insight Global is in search of a Booking Producer to support a client in the News sector. The Booking Producer's primary role is to secure on-air guests for interviews and will report to the head of the booking division as part of the network's booking team, as well as to the executive producer of the assigned show. This role involves outreach and vetting of guests while fostering and maintaining relationships with guests and their representatives. Collaboration with news, programming, and talent during production is essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Collaborating with the Executive Producer and team to identify premier guests for broadcast

* Conducting thorough guest research and outreach

* Assisting the team in identifying and securing relevant on-air guests for interviews

* Building and nurturing strong relationships with newsmakers, experts, officials, publicists, press secretaries, communications directors, agents, managers, and celebrities

* Acting as the primary point of contact for guests and their representatives on behalf of the network

* Conducting pre-interviews and vetting processes with potential on-air guests

* Confirming logistics for interviews, including date, time, and format for on-air appearances

* Providing guests with topics and areas of discussion for interviews

* Communicating on-air appearance requirements to guests

* Securing exclusive interviews and content with noteworthy guests

* Identifying new and emerging voices as subject matter experts.
