About the Role

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairwells.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in commercial, non-residential cleaning preferred.
