The Service and Installation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales and installation services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Allocate 50% of work time to Sales & Customer Service and the remaining 50% to Installation tasks.
- Conduct regular visits to client locations to evaluate additional product or component needs.
- Engage with non-client retailers to gauge interest in complimentary in-store trials.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule assessments, installations, renovations, grand openings, and maintenance tasks.
- Optimize travel routes and time management to efficiently handle multiple client requests.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of dispenser components and configurations, ensuring proper placement and selection.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of all products, particularly specialized solutions such as greens bags, corn bags, and meat bags.
- Foster ongoing relationships with all stores to monitor product satisfaction.
- Ensure timely completion of all order and dispenser documentation.
- Secure customer signatures on Dispenser Loan Order forms and submit weekly to Accounting.
- Provide weekly updates of daily activities to the Supervisor.
- Install dispensers correctly in all assigned locations.
- Submit expense reports promptly.
- Innovate more efficient attachments for dispensers and communicate modifications to the office.
- Develop improved shipping and routing strategies to enhance installation efficiency.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not include direct supervisory duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills with both clients and management.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Some mechanical aptitude for utilizing tools and machinery, along with a basic understanding of dispenser functionality.
- Organizational skills and map reading abilities to effectively plan routes and schedules.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position involves traveling by automobile to various retail locations, with a significant portion of the day spent outdoors.
