Logistics Supervisor Job Description

As a Logistics Supervisor at Sabra Dipping, you will oversee the efficient operation of the warehouse department, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while adhering to safety standards, food safety and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, including warehouse coordinators, forklift operators, and case pickers, providing clear directions and open communication.
  • Ensure safe operations and compliance to all quality and safety procedures and processes, including timely reporting and investigations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and organization of incoming inventory, including raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries, preparing shipping documents, and arranging transportation logistics.
  • Monitor receiving procedures to verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials, resolving discrepancies promptly and communicating with stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, and distribution.
  • 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving processes, inventory control methods, and warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
