Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary to perform high-quality breast imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct care to a diverse patient population, including assisting with bathing, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
  • Provide key aspects of patient care, including helping patients with mobility and transferring them to and from examination tables.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to promote healing and support wellness, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • One (1) year minimum experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
  • Must be ARRT (M) - Mammography registered.
  • BLS Certification Required.
