Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 72 hours per pay period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience with CT imaging. You will be responsible for reviewing patient history, initiating CT images, and prioritizing patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Additionally, you will safely administer contrast media and monitor patient condition, responding and reporting changes as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates CT images based on physician order
• Prioritizes patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
• Safely administers contrast media and monitors patient condition
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
• Implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• State licensure if required by law
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
