QUALIFICATIONS FOR CERTIFIED MEDICATION ASSISTANT:

To excel in this role, candidates must successfully perform each essential duty.

The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential functions. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a state-approved CMA certification training program and maintenance of good standing.
A current valid Texas driver's license or reliable transportation to and from work is required.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a nursing assistant in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting is preferred.

Familiarity with electronic medical records is advantageous. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Registered CMA on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry. Walnut Springs Health & Rehabilitation is an equal opportunity employer.
