Senior Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through accurate and reliable testing services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform moderate and high-complexity testing to support patient care
- Analyze and review testing results to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Implement effective solutions to recognize and address any issues or concerns
- Work collaboratively with the laboratory management team to achieve quality and safety goals
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control in the laboratory environment
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science from an accredited program
- Current active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a medical laboratory scientist (MLS), formerly known as MT/CLS or American Medical Technologist as Medical Laboratory Technician or MLT (AMT)
- A minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab setting
- Good computer knowledge and skills in lab information systems
- Previous specialized experience in microbiology and blood banking is preferred
- Valid and current State of Hawaii license as a Technologist
