Responsibilities
  • Collect high-quality blood samples using various phlebotomy methods for patients of all ages.
  • Provide rapid response to medical emergencies, such as traumas and codes.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Interact with patients, nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately identify patients, label, handle, and transport specimens.
  • Answer phones, assist with training students and new employees, and perform other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a medical field preferred.
  • Ability to push a cart and walk distances.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid phlebotomy certification from an approved agency, such as ASCP, NHA, or ASPT.
