Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is in search of a dedicated full-time Youth Psychiatric Specialist to deliver comprehensive services at our various Residential facilities. You will become part of a collaborative network of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners across multiple JRI programs, focusing on trauma-informed psychiatric care for children aged 6-21 who are navigating emotional, behavioral, and attachment challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations
  • Manage psychopharmacological treatments
  • Provide guidance and support to parents
  • Engage in team consultations
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential for this role, with psychiatric services offered on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with latency-aged children facing acute or complex psychiatric issues is essential.
  • A completed fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited institution is required.
  • Candidates must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure is necessary.
