Our services include the only comprehensive Cancer Center in Santa Cruz County, a Total Joint Replacement program, and advanced neurological and endoscopic services. We regularly receive 'A' grades for hospital safety from Leapfrog Group, and have received national recognition for superior patient safety, cardiac care, and stroke treatment from Healthgrades.
Cardiac Care
As Santa Cruz County's heart attack (STEMI) receiving center, we provide cutting-edge cardiac care. Our heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average, and we offer two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer groundbreaking cardiac procedures, including the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure, which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient's chest.
Partnerships
We have forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. We offer a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. Neurosurgery at our hospital is also offered through a partnership with Stanford Health Care.
In The Community
Beyond care inside the hospital, we are dedicated to the health and wellness of the Santa Cruz community. Our community programs include a Mobile Wellness Clinic, a tattoo removal program, and support groups for patients and new mothers. In addition, and in accordance with our mission, we support programs for the underserved in our community, including children and adults, students, seniors, and the homeless population.
