Position Summary: ECI is seeking a qualified electrical engineer to join our team in various office locations. This role will involve a diverse array of tasks focused on the design and implementation of renewable energy solutions, particularly in wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems. Responsibilities will include the design and analysis of underground collector systems, project routing, development of system layouts, grounding strategies, conduit design, preparation of material lists, and the creation of electrical schematics and conceptual designs to support bidding processes.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant design engineering experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and planning abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential. A commitment to quality and precision, along with the capacity to meet demanding project timelines, is required. While a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Applicants should have a foundational understanding of power engineering principles and relevant codes and standards. Additionally, candidates may be subject to client-required drug testing and background checks. Occasional travel may be necessary, and applicants must meet ECI's auto insurance criteria. Sponsorship for employment visa status is not available.
