We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team at Compass Group Careers. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards.
- Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
- Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to supervisor.
- Attend in-service and safety meetings.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of cooking experience in high-volume restaurants is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
