Job SummaryAs a Pharmacy Technician I at BayCare Health System, you will play a vital role in supporting the mission of our pharmacy department. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will be responsible for the efficient preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivery of pharmaceuticals to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and compound pharmaceuticals according to established procedures
- Label and deliver medications to patients and staff
- Assist pharmacists with patient counseling and medication education
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrollment in a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program
- Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareers Association (NHA)
This is a full-time, exempt position with varying shift hours. You will work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
