Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Buyer to join our team at American StaffCorp Job Board. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors and administers activities involved in the procurement of goods and services
  • Receives purchase orders, invoices, and other forms and reconciles for completeness and accuracy
  • Works with vendors to ensure that products are delivered according to schedule and that purchasing terms and conditions are clear and agreed upon
  • Stores and retrieves purchase orders, proof of purchase, pricing quotes, receipts and other necessary documents as required to report accurate spending figures to finance
  • Verifies bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approves bills for payment
  • Enters purchase orders for services, materials, and spare parts per demand or as directed by manager
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, or ten (10) years of procurement experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated integrity with strong business and personal ethics
  • Self-starting team player who demonstrates an attitude reflective of the Kelvion operating values
  • Ability to drive and implement change as needed
