Position Overview

The Department of Surgery, specializing in Pediatric Surgery, is seeking a qualified faculty member for a role at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This position is available on a non-tenure or tenure-accruing track, contingent upon the candidate's qualifications. The successful applicant will be responsible for the education and mentorship of medical students and residents in pediatric surgical practices. A strong commitment to advancing an academic career through research, teaching, and clinical engagement is essential. Candidates must possess an MD degree and be board certified or eligible in pediatric surgery. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

About the Division

The Pediatric Surgery Division has a rich history and has been operational since 1967, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of pediatric surgical conditions. The division benefits from collaboration with a leading department of Pediatrics, which includes all subspecialties and critical care providers. Additionally, we are proud to host the first fellowship training program in Florida.

Compensation:
