Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Invasive Tech to join our team at AdventHealth Bolingbrook. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with setting up, scrubbing into, and monitoring cases performed in the cardiac Cath/IR lab.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity and report any abnormalities to the physician.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 0-2 years of experience required.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT.
  • Preferred certifications include RCIS/RCES and ARRT, Vascular Interventional.
