Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Bolingbrook. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique
  • Provide side-by-side support to physicians during cases
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases performed and communicate with lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow for the day, which may include patient transport and other necessary duties
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • 0-2 years of experience required
  • Basic EKG interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures
  • RCIS/RCES certification
  • ARRT, Vascular Interventional certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
  • RCIS/RCES certification
  • ARRT, Vascular Interventional certification
