About the Role

Naples Classical Academy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to provide technical support and services to our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading our computer hardware, software, and network components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and upgrade computer hardware, software, and network components
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and contact repair vendors as needed
  • Provide technical support for internet use and website access
  • Train staff to improve software and hardware utilization
  • Maintain equipment inventory and technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through peer groups, conferences, and online resources
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in a related technical or computer field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of networking experience
  • Ability to understand and solve problems, and communicate effectively with leaders, peers, and administration
  • Positive team player with a commitment to quality and a demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation is preferred
