Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce provisions of the Massachusetts Electrical Code and ensure compliance with electrical installations
  • Supervise electrical systems installed for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on electrical installations and inspections
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • More than five years of experience in supervising electrical systems installed for residential, commercial, and industrial construction
  • Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license
  • Class D driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Massachusetts Electrical Code
  • Thorough knowledge of all types of electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
  • Some knowledge of electrical engineering principles as it applies to electrical appliances and wiring installations
  • Ability to maintain complete and accurate records
  • Ability to prepare reports
  • Some familiarity with computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software

Compensation:

$2,896.37 biweekly, plus benefits
