Job Summary:
The Town of Barnstable is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Supervisor, you will be responsible for enforcing provisions of the Massachusetts Electrical Code and ensuring compliance with electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce provisions of the Massachusetts Electrical Code and ensure compliance with electrical installations
- Supervise electrical systems installed for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on electrical installations and inspections
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- More than five years of experience in supervising electrical systems installed for residential, commercial, and industrial construction
- Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license
- Class D driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of the Massachusetts Electrical Code
- Thorough knowledge of all types of electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Some knowledge of electrical engineering principles as it applies to electrical appliances and wiring installations
- Ability to maintain complete and accurate records
- Ability to prepare reports
- Some familiarity with computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Compensation:
$2,896.37 biweekly, plus benefits
