The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Jr. Litigation Partner to join our dynamic legal team in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a perfect balance between work and personal life. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of staff and case management, client representation, and litigation efforts. Your expertise will be invaluable in drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions, and providing expert legal advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with, advise, and manage associates, paralegals, and staff to ensure seamless case management.
  • Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery documents to support our clients' interests.
  • Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations, utilizing your exceptional courtroom skills.
  • Keep clients and/or their insurers informed about case developments and progress.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients, offering guidance on complex litigation matters.
  • Oversee day-to-day litigation tasks, ensuring timely and efficient case resolution.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of civil litigation procedures and protocols.
  • Proven track record of drafting effective motions and pleadings.
  • Ability to navigate the court system with ease, leveraging your knowledge of local and federal laws.
  • Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Active member of the Arizona State Bar, with a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Prior Litigation Partner experience in construction or casualty claims is highly desirable.
