Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing aggregate sampling, preparing samples for sieve analysis, and conducting test procedures to ensure our materials meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform aggregate sampling at mining sites and stockpiled aggregate materials at various pit locations.
  • Prepare samples for sieve analysis by reducing and drying the sample.
  • Conduct test procedures in the field or central lab on aggregate materials and other related materials.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of test results.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
  • Process samples as per supervisor instructions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
  • Previous related experience in the construction field is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Standard Driver's License is preferred.

Work Environment
