Responsibilities

  • Acquire patient data and design radiation treatment plans
  • Perform manual and computer-assisted calculations of radiation dose distributions
  • Generate and document treatment plans in consultation with radiation oncologists and medical physicists
  • Assist with Quality Assurance program and report to radiation oncology medical physicist on clinical treatment matters

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a formal university, college, or hospital-based Dosimetry program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff working medical dosimetrist
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certificate and college degree preferred
