*Compensation starting at $18.50/hour* The Overnight Care Support Specialist provides essential operational, daily, and emotional assistance to residents in a group home environment during nighttime hours and throughout their morning routines.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule:
Third Shift

Shift Details:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 PM to 9 AM

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain vigilance and respond to the needs of residents, ensuring a safe and inviting living space.

Assist residents with household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.

Support residents with morning activities as required, and prepare necessary items for the day ahead. Lift and transfer residents and provide transportation to daytime programs and appointments as needed.

Implement established care plans.

Provide intervention during any crisis situations involving residents.

Report significant health, psychiatric, or behavioral concerns to the on-call personnel in accordance with program protocols.


Document summaries of interactions and objective behavioral observations of residents at the end of each shift; including clinical notes and data collection.


Train residents in responding to nighttime fire drills, conduct regular drills, and ensure the safe evacuation of residents during emergencies.


Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent degree.

Exceptional interpersonal, judgment, and coaching abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in basic computer applications.

A desire to excel in a dynamic, client-focused, team-oriented environment.


Must possess a valid driver's license, have access to a reliable and insured vehicle, and be willing to use it for transporting clients.

Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
