Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at Caesarstone US. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of quartz slabs to our customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a late-model sleeper tractor and flatbed between Distribution Centers.
  • Ensure proper strapping and securing of various types of cargo to prevent damages and ensure safety during transit.
  • Comply with all relevant traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Utilize an ELD system for accurate recording and reporting of driving hours.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and proper maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring it is always well-maintained.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients and vendors.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A
  • TWIC license preferred, not required
  • Driver should expect to be over the road at least twice a week.
  • +1 Year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
  • Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
  • Must have excellent safety and compliance record
  • Must have excellent driving skills
  • Flexibility to accommodate different start times
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Able to work with tight deadlines in a multi-task, high priority environment
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working Monday through Friday, with over the road/overnight runs, 2x/wk. The driver will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with customers and vendors. The driver will also be required to work in variable weather conditions and be able to lift 50 pounds.
