Career Opportunities
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Do you have a strong background in social or recreational programs? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Activities (Life Enrichment).

About the Role
This is a pivotal position on our leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing programs that meet the physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the Wellness Department's programs and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
2. Develop and revise department policies and procedures, maintaining current knowledge of facility policies and procedures.
3. Ensure proper staffing by conducting interviews, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising employees, preparing employee performance evaluations, and initiating promotion, transfer, and termination.
4. Direct resident activities and schedules, actively participating in Performance Improvement.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS) preferred or ADC and 90-hour basic education course.
Experience: Two years of experience in social or recreational programs within the past five years, preferably in long-term care.
