Job Title: 1st Shift Line Packer (Packaging)

Job Summary:

As a Line Packer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality products by preparing and packaging cooked food items for shipment. You will work in a team environment to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • De-clip summer sausage from meat racks and transfer to loading table
  • Load products onto the line, checking for clips and verifying correct size
  • Inspect products for quality and safety, including checking for wrinkles, open seals, and meat in the seal
  • Pack products into designated boxes, arranging them according to product codes and specifications
  • Feed boxes down the line to be automatically taped and labeled
  • Remove boxes from the line and place them onto pallets
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less and lift up to 35 pounds for 30 minutes at a time
  • Flexibility to work as needed and willing to work within two businesses (OW and CBC)
  • Ability to work in a high-speed packaging environment and stand for up to 8-10 hours per day
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties
  • Ability to work 40 or more hours per week and work mandatory overtime if necessary, including weekends
