Compensation: This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $12 to $15.00, in addition to tips.

Application Process: This is an evergreen role, meaning applications are accepted continuously without a specific deadline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring responsible service to minors and intoxicated patrons.
  • Review pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as outlined.
  • Process drink orders accurately, mixing, garnishing, and presenting beverages according to standard recipes while practicing portion control.
  • Prepare and stock assigned bars with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and other essential items.
  • Maintain freshness and quality of garnishes, juices, and perishables, requesting additional stock as needed.
  • Welcome guests with a courteous and friendly attitude.
  • Recognize signs of guest inebriation and take appropriate action, involving management or security when necessary.
  • Secure and store all beverage products and equipment, completing closing duties at the end of the shift.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:

  • A minimum of six months experience in bartending within a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and revenue collection through a POS system.
  • Ability to meet the company’s standards for guest service, teamwork, and uniform appearance.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with various types of beer, wine, and spirits is preferred.
  • Self-motivated while also being a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to obtain a valid food handling certificate and TABC certification prior to employment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Completion of bartending school is a plus.
