We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharging patients referred for physical therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions for patients in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings.
- Participate in student education and training, including ICE and OT level 1 programs.
- Develop and deliver treatment programs that promote patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and tools to administer safe and effective therapeutic interventions.
- Record and document patient progress information, including daily treatments, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- 0-2 years of clinical practice experience, with 1 year preferred.
- Valid PA state license in Physical Therapy.
- CPR certification via AHA.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to undergo a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, a Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. Additionally, Covid vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health.
