In this pivotal role, you will utilize your comprehensive expertise to conduct intricate laboratory evaluations, guide fellow professionals, and foster a productive and supportive laboratory atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of various blood, body fluids, and urine samples in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assess test outcomes, detect irregularities, and confirm precision prior to reporting results.
  • Alert healthcare professionals regarding critical and urgent findings.
  • Support colleagues in resolving equipment issues.
  • Engage in the assessment of new laboratory technologies and methodologies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to fellow technologists, promoting a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Clinical Technologist license is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Technology or a related scientific field, with at least four years of pertinent laboratory experience.
  • ASCP certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time efficiently, and work autonomously.
