Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Advocate to join our team in a General Merchandise role. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience for our guests, ensuring that they have a positive and memorable shopping experience in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Restock shelves, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure that the store is visually appealing and well-organized.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management activities, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Support the execution of sales plans, promotions, and visual merchandising initiatives to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct daily and weekly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including working in other areas of the store as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
