Endocrinology Physician

We are seeking a skilled Endocrinology Physician to join our team at Health by Design, a Medici Company. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering best-in-class preventive and complex condition care.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will specialize in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, with a focus on patient-centered care. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine-related conditions, including diabetes, thyroid problems, and metabolic disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating patients with endocrine-related conditions.
- Advise, order, and perform tests, and interpret results to diagnose and treat patients.
- Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and educate them on medications, lifestyle, and dietary changes.
- Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and update patient records.
- Support patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions by assisting with caregiver education.
- Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources.
- Determine which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs.
- Document all services in the patient's electronic medical record.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Active TX license (or compact) in hand.
- ACLS, BLS through AHA (or able to obtain prior to start).
- DEA (or able to obtain prior to start).
- Minimum two (2) years employment experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Provider's salary expectations.
- Provider is available to begin working in 2024.
