At Sandia Ridge Center in Albuquerque, NM, we are seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and provide high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryThe RN Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of patient care on their assigned unit, ensuring that care is consistent with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, and values. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to mentor and educate nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care.
- Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating ways to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
- Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals to provide high-quality care.
- Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and adherence to Genesis policy.
- Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay current with industry developments.

Requirements- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
- Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
- Competitive pay: $42 - $45 / hour.
