Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs and assists in performing a variety of procedures in Echo Lab, stress lab, and patient care areas. This includes adult, pediatric, and neonate Echo's, adult TEE's, Dobutamine stress, contrast ECHO, and peripheral vascular testing. This position treats and cares for patients of all ages, requiring a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CommonSpirit Health. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in performing a variety of procedures in Echo Lab, stress lab, and patient care areas.
- Treat and care for patients of all ages.
- Support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Qualifications:
- Theoretical background in basic electronics, hemodynamic measurements, exercise stress testing, cardiac sonography, and vascular procedures.
- AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Preferred certifications: ARDMS or RCS, completion of an approved AMA Program for Cardiovascular Technology or other allied health field with Certificate, and membership in National Organization for Cardiovascular Technologists.
