Tampa General Hospital seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the safe and effective use of radionuclides for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct patient contact and preparation for imaging procedures
  • Administration of radiopharmaceuticals through various methods
  • Computer processing and laboratory testing for accurate diagnoses
  • Quality control and radiation safety measures to ensure patient well-being
  • Collaboration with medical staff to deliver quality patient care

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of a NMTCB/ARRT recognized accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Nuclear Medicine Registered or Certified board eligible
  • NMTCB/ARRT (R), ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine technologist registry required, BLS certification required
