Job Summary

Care Dynamics, LLC is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Silver Spring, MD.

This is an onsite position for a 3-month contract, with a total of 40 hours per week, working four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

As part of the radiology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing examination rooms for interventional radiology procedures.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to capture precise and clear images.
  • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Monitoring patients during examinations to ensure safety and prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Producing diagnostic images, providing crucial information to physicians, and updating patient records.
  • Managing procedure schedules and monitoring radiographic supplies.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as answering technical questions and scheduling appointments.
  • Conducting maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Must be a traveler located at least 60 miles away from the facility.

Care Dynamics, LLC offers a competitive pay rate of $62.24/hr (including taxable pay and per diem), health benefits, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and critical medical setting.
