Job Summary

The Dining Supervisor position is critical to the success of Fooda's cafeteria operations. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the food hall, ensuring a high-quality service experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of a single-unit location with multiple stations, ensuring that Fooda's standards of service and sanitation are consistently met.
  • Monitor the setup, restocking, and breakdown of the cafeteria daily, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Oversee the daily arrival and setup of all restaurants, ensuring that they meet Fooda's standards of service and sanitation.
  • Ensure that all customers are properly charged for goods purchased and that the point-of-sale software is updated and maintained daily.
  • Assist the Dining Manager with weekly accounting responsibilities, ensuring that all financial entries are documented properly within Fooda's systems.
  • Escalate any potential issues or questions occurring at the assigned location to the Director when necessary, ensuring that proper procedures are being followed.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in large food service or enterprise catering, preferably with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proactive approach to job responsibilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality service.
