Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems for manufacturing, device assembly, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and test automated equipment
  • Set up and test vision systems on equipment and products
  • Install equipment at customer facilities
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components, including cable routing and terminating wires
  • Provide remote and onsite support for vision and automated systems
  • Troubleshoot programming, sequencing, and electrical signaling issues
  • Verify and modify system drawings with support from an Automation Engineer
  • Review and modify existing PLC programs with support from an Automation Engineer
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects and clients
Requirements
  • Technical understanding and experience with automated equipment for manufacturing, device assembly, and packaging
  • Ability to read, trace, and troubleshoot equipment design using electrical, mechanical, and facility drawings
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of PLC programming and logic
  • Familiarity with vision inspection use and programming
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to make independent sound decisions and manage priorities
  • Communicating complex technical concepts in simple, concise oral conversation and written documentation
